"I am number 1"
Why is it every time I hear a nelly song I picture Steve Smith slamming a cornerback on the ground. Every time I see Steve Smith make a play, I hear nelly saying what does it take to win?
These two are kind of the same person. Could it be their swagger? Attitude or dat country grammar.
Heck they even look alike. I did some research and it's funny how I never realized I'm not the only one go had this same thought.

How Bout Dem Cowboys!!!! Week Seven Preview
Panthers and Cowboys Week 7 Preview
Cowboys 2-2
Panthers 1-4
Yeeeeeeh Hawwwww The Panthers get set to take on the Cowboys at home in week 7. This preview is early considering it's only week 6. Cowboys come off a game against the Ravens to face a well rested Panthers.
Lets talk Cowboys for a minute. They are starting to look pretty bad considering that stunning season opener win against the Giants averaging only 68 yards per game on the ground. Forcing Tony Romo to throw the ball to the other team, whoops I mean his team. Sorry my sentence was intercepted, hopefully thats the last time this article and not four more times. Romo was terrible on Sunday against the Bears throwing 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 interceptions in that game. If they want to get things going against the Panthers they must get a ground game going to help open up the pass.
Panthers Defense has to play like they did against Seattle if they want to beat the Cowboys. They intercepted Russel Wilson twice and had one pick 6. My "Panthers Prowl Opinion" the defense is starting to impress me after that loss to the giants, they failed in the end with the Falcons but came back strong against the Seahawks. Charles Johnson and that front four looked great the last two games, Consistent Cats is the nickname we want from here on out.
Cam vs Romo
I know I know, This isn't really a match up of the week by any means. However, whichever one of these players brings their A game sunday, should add a W on the record list. Cam Newton has a OBR of 80.9 with 1,154 yards and 4 TD's and 5 INT's. Not to Mention 5 carries of 209 yards and 3 TD's.
He struggled big time against a tough Seahawk's defense sunday and honestly he might not be much better against the Cowboys. With Panthers newly signed Center Austin and DT Jay Ratliff returning to the cowboys tough 3-4 defense, making things complicated for Cam. Lets hope Austin can handle Ratliff and Cam won't fumble away the win holding on to the ball to long. Something he needs to work on desperately. Cam should be able to get some yardage both passing and running if they have play calling like they ran on the Saints.
Romo has struggled just like Cam throwing 8 INT's, 5 TD's this year, for 1,148 yards and a OBR of 78.5. Romo is consistently making bad decisions and throwing the game away. He's doesn't need to be a pro bowl quarterback to win against the Panthers, just less turnovers and better reads. Both Quarterbacks have talent and are in a slump which is why a good game from one of them should help seal the deal.
Both Defenses are playing strong and hopefully continue to play this way into this game. Of course my bias Panthers Prowl Prediction is Panthers winning this game at home. It's going to be a close one.
For a more detailed preview come back next friday for a Gameday weekend prediction for all NFL games.

Wine and Cheese Crowd
Wine and Cheese Crowd
Bank Of America stadium
Starting off I want to say I did not invent this term but when I heard it I knew it almost perfectly describes our teams fans. Sorry if this offends you Panthers Fans but you know it's you when you leave a game early because we are down or we throw a pick, maybe you just sit in your chair with a seat cushion and don't get up and cheer or help the defense out on third down. Whatever the case may be, we make that stadium to easy for fans of the opposing team to come in and root for the away team.
Im not saying pick a fight, or throw a few punches, even scream a few curse words. Im saying make that stadium known for being a place that other teams don't want to deal with. Turn that noise into a 12th player whose a first round draft pick.
If you have ever been to a Redskins, Eagles or Steelers game you know what Im talking about. It's a whole other world. I actually questioned my sanity sitting in a seat in The Eagles stadium wearing a Panthers jersey. They have a stadium jail! it will change a man. Im not saying lets be known for giving wedges or slapping fools or stepping on away teams feet when going the bathroom. Lets just bring our A game. The stadium holds 73,250 capacity, and only 36,211 actually cheer, trust me I've counted.
Keep Pounding Carolina!!
Is it time for new Head Coach?
Front row at Bank Of America Stadium
Being at the game on sunday against the Seahawks was not only tough to watch but tough to hear. The day started out gloomy and cold and ended with fans calling out Ron Rivera and saying we need a new head coach. It's still way to early to determine that and Carolina's Fans do have some right to be upset. This team has made big promises and created lots of hype before the 2012 season. However even though they have yet to produce the results to yield to it's expectations, lets not give up on them Cardiac Cats just yet.
The Pursuit of Happiness
Coach Ron Rivera is now entering mid-way into his second year as the Panthers Head Coach, making his record 7-14 with the boys in blue. Given the poor start and disappointment of the fans Let's focus on positives. Our team was dead last in offense in 2010, with rivera we were 4th in 2011. Making Carolina one the biggest jumps in year to year offensive improvement in history. Also we were the first team to ever have more then three players with over 700 yards rushing in a single season, and set a team record for highest net yards 6,237.
That's great and all but we still keep losing games. It's tough to lose but we have to have faith. Rivera has made some huge strides with this team and honestly, it's more impressing that we actually are in the game until the final minutes as opposed to be written off in second half cough cough 2010 cough.
What's next?
This is for all you fans who think we suck, and we are terrible and Cam is a crybaby. We are a young team making huge strides statistically. Few setbacks here and there, however are coaches and players are not giving up and nether should we. Instead of expecting us to win a Super Bowl, we should expect to play good consistent football and support this coaching staff and depth chart at least this season and one more, before we decide to make drastic changes.
Predictions for the rest of the season
Panthers record 6-10, yes again. If we stay healthy. Our defense will be ranked one of the best in the league and offense should get back on track. Maybe not as good as last years, maybe better, who knows.

Can Cam Newton fight off Kryptonite
Superman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait it's Cam Newton
Carolina Panthers 1-4 starting off this 2012 season, Huge expectations and hopes for this team, this season. Only to have those hopes crushed going into the bye week in week 5 of the NFL Season. It's tough being Panthers fan. The games lost this year have been down to the final minutes minus a A$$ whooping by the giants at HOME!!!
Word on the street is bench Cam. WHAT??? guys please let Rivera coach this team. Why would you bench your first round draft pick after a poor start into the season. You would be doing exactly what Cam is doing and needs to learn. How to fight through this and get better. Learn from your mistakes, make the haters feel stupid and win football games. This guy is young and has all the tools and talent in the world. He just needs coaching and support.
Ashamed should be the fans saying bench this man. You can't give up on your team yet. Im not saying we are going to the playoffs, but take advantage of the rest of this season and become a consistent good football team. Fans. please stick behind Cam and let him know you have his back. To parents out there, would you give up on your kids when they are not doing good?
Running out of time, but please come back.
